Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe will make a return to the ring when he fights Chris Avalos in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Having lost the WBO bantamweight title to Mexico’s Emmanuel Navarette in December 2018, the 25-year-old quest to retake the title in rematch turn sour as he was knockout yet again.
Tuesday’s fight will present an opportunity for the ‘Royal Storm’ to reclaim his name in the sport after over a year absence.
He will come up against America’s Chris Avalos who apparently has suffered a similar fate as his Ghanaian opponent after losing his last two fights; first to Leo Santa Cruz in October 2017 and to Abimael Ortiz in November last year.
The 30-year-old American popular referred to as ‘the hitman’ has recorded 34 bouts, winning 27 and lost 7 times.
He boasts an incredible 20 knock out wins, posing a huge challenge to Dogboe.
Isaac Dogboe has fought 22 times winning, won 20 and lost twice both to Emmanuel Navarette.
The fight will be staged at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, USA.
