The Phobians seems to have turned a corner with an impressive 2-1 victory against Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Carl Reindolf Park on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak began the premier league campaign with losses in the two opening games but have managed to seven points in their last three games.
Liberty drew first blood with barely a minute on the clock as Michael Sefah directed a corner pass Richard Atta in Hearts post.
The visitors dominated the first half in search of an equaliser but Liberty goalkeeper, Ganiwu Shaibu stood tall to keep the Hearts forwards at bay to end the half with the host leading.
With defeat looming, Edward Odoom and his charges raised their game but had to wait until the 86th minute to draw parity thanks to a Benard Arthur header.
Two minutes later, Kofi Kordzi found the match-winner for the Phobians to who carried all points from the Carl Reindolf park.
The results meant Hearts move to 9th on the league log ahead of Kotoko’s visit next Sunday.
