After having returned to Chelsea in June, there have been widespread reports linking the player away from the club but Marcel Desailly believes the defender may have still have something to offer.

“Baba Rahman should not give up, I think he has the level to be at Chelsea as a first choice, so he should try more.

“He went out of the country to play in the Spanish league so he has to try and come back with a better mindset to be able to perform”, Desailly told FootballmadeinGhana.

“The Premier League is very difficult because of the speed of the game, so it’s not easy but he has to cope with it”, the former Chelsea defender added.
