Following his match-winning goal against Manchester United, Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew was the hero yet again in Crytal Palace 1-0 win against Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old forward earned his third start of the campaign after coming off the bench for Palace in the 5-4 penalty shootout loss to Colchester on Tuesday.
He scored Palace match-winner with a quarter to end proceedings at the Selhurst Park.
After being picked up by Ghanaian teammate, Jeffrey Schlup, his cross deflected back into his path as he made no mistake with a sweet curler to win all three points for Crystal Palace.
The goal meant Jordan has scored in both Eagles’ consecutive wins, one against United and Saturday’s 73rd winner.
He was later replaced by Christian Benteke in the 86th minute.
It’s just four games into the English League campaign but the Ghanaian has already bettered his goal tally from last season after finding the net just once in the 2018/19 season.
