The Match Day four games of the Ghana premier league concluded on Thursday as Great Olympics secured a 2-0 victory against Karela United at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Having lost all three games of the campaign, the wonder club of Ghana football rose to the occasion with a good result on Thursday afternoon.
Olympics skipper, Gladson Awako converted from the spot to put his team ahead before Abdul Razak Yusif added the second with barely five minutes to end proceedings.
The results meant Great Olympics will move to 14th position on the league log, just a point difference between Karela and Hearts of Oak who occupy 11th and 12th place respectively.
They will travel to play Elmina Sharks while Karela United will host King Faisal.
