Ghana football remains suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic but two players of Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko would have none of it as they engaged in verbal exchanges on social media.
Asante Kotoko defender, Ismail Ganiu took to micro-blogging site Twitter to respond to Abednego Tetteh’s vow to score a hat-trick in his first appearance against Kotoko.
The defender in his response to the Hearts of Oak forward said; “as if we will be sleeping at the back, let the field decide”.
Abednego Tetteh appeared not so enthused by the defender’s comment, tagging him a ‘spectator’ in sharp rebuttal.
Meanwhile, the former Bechem United forward is among a list of new signings to have joined Hearts of Oak.
