Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday defeated Great Olympics to win the 2019 edition of the Homowo Cup.
The rainbow club had their 68th minute lead canceled out by Olympics’ Iddrisu Sarlar with eighteen minutes running on the clock.
Mitchell Sarpong was the goalscorer for Hearts.
Both teams’ attempts to find the winning goal proved futile meaning the tie will be decided through penalty shootout.
It was the phobians who emerged victors after Olympics missed two of their penalty kicks, meaning the former ran out 3-1 winners at the Accra Sports Stadium.
