Ajax teen sensation, Abdelhak Nouri has in what is being described as a miracle woken up after spending two years and nine months in a coma.
The Dutch ace suffered a cardiac arrest during a game between Ajax and Werder Bremen in July 2017.
Following the incident, Doctors suggested that the player would remain in a vegetative state due to severe and permanent brain damage due to the incident.
According to various reports, the 22-year old player is awake and surprisingly responds to communication.

Brother of Nouri is quoted to have said that footballer is “doing well” and communicates not through words or signals but through raising their eyebrows.
Widely tipped to be the next big hit for Ajax, Nouri collapsed in the 72nd minute of a pre-season friendly against Bremen after replacing now-Chelsea player Hakim Ziyech.
He was then placed in an induced coma after being flown to a nearby hospital by helicopter.
