1 disqualified, 6 others to contest GFA presidency as Vetting Committee release results.

The Vetting Committee of the Normalization Committee on Friday, 4th October 2019 has released the list of the eligible aspirants to contest for the presidency of Ghana Football Association.

The list includes all but the Bankroller of Tema Youth Football Club, Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer who was disqualified for an apparent breach of Article 33(5) of the GFA General regulation amid other decisions by the Ethics Committee dating back to December 2017.

The results meant George Ankoma Mensah, Amanda Clinton, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Kurt Edwin Okraku, Fred Pappoe, and former FA vice, George Afriyie are qualified to contest the position.

Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer meanwhile has indicated he will appeal against the decision of the Vetting Committee to disqualify him from the FA race.
